Swiss Franc Extends Decline Against Euro After Inflation Data

Switzerland’s franc extended a decline against the euro after data showed the nation’s consumer prices fell more than analysts estimated in December.

The franc depreciated as much as 0.3 percent to 1.2164 per euro, the weakest level since Dec. 5, and was at 1.2160 per euro at 8:17 a.m. London time.
