Serbia Water Utility in Novi Sad Plans Water Works, SeeNews Says
The water utility serving the Serbian city of Novi Sad plans to invest at least 2.5 billion dinars ($29.2 million) in water and sewer system upgrades this year, SeeNews reported, citing a statement from the company.
Vodovod i Kanalizacija plans to outfit a water plant on the Danube River with an ozonation and activated carbon filtration system and add a reservoir to stabilize water supplies, the report said, citing the utility. Novi Sad is the capital of Serbia’s northern province of Vojvodina.
