LG Chem Said to Buy Naphtha Shipment for First-Half of February

LG Chem Ltd. (051910) purchased a naphtha cargo for first-half February delivery to South Korea, according to two traders who participate in the market.

The company bought about 25,000 metric tons at a premium of about $16 to $17 a ton to Japan benchmark prices, the traders said, asking not to be identified because they aren’t authorized to speak to the media.
