Arizona Extends Win Streak to Nine by Topping Oral Roberts 89-64

Fourth-ranked University of Arizona extended its college basketball season winning streak to nine as the Wildcats defeated Oral Roberts University 89-64.

Mark Lyons had 17 points and Grant Jerrett had 15 for Arizona (9-0) last night at McKale Center in Tucson.

Arizona had a 45-31 halftime advantage and then outscored the Golden Eagles (5-5) 44-33 in the second half.

Warren Niles had 22 points and Shawn Glover added 18 for Tulsa, Oklahoma-based Oral Roberts.

In other games involving teams ranked in the Top 10, it was No. 7 Ohio State 65, Winthrop 55 and No. 9 Kansas 87, Richmond 59.
