Romania Utility Grants Water Plant Upgrade Contract to Passavant

The Romanian regional utility Apa Serv SA awarded a contract valued at 43 million lei ($12 million) to Germany’s Passavant-Roediger GmbH to upgrade a wastewater treatment plant in the eastern European country.
The contract in the eastern town of Roman was initially valued at 51 million lei, according to a European Union procurement document. Apa Serv received seven offers for the contract, it said.
