Alstom Units Win Contract to Upgrade Transelectrica Station

Transelectrica SA (TEL), Romania’s power- grid operator, awarded a 21 million-euro ($27 million) contract to a group led by Alstom SA (ALO)’s units to upgrade a transformer station in the Tulcea county, near the Black Sea.

The contract, signed by Transelectrica with Alstom Grid GmbH, Alstom Grid Romania SRL, Electromontaj SA and Retrasib (RTRA) SA on Nov. 26, is for the duration of 30 months, the grid-operator said in a filing to the Bucharest Stock Exchange today.
