Brazil Corn Planting Up to 61.2% of Designated Area: Celeres

Corn planting in Brazil, the third largest grower of the grain, reached 61.2 percent of the designated area for the 2012-13 summer crop, compared with 73.9 percent a year earlier, the consulting firm Celeres said in an e-mailed report today.
