Latvian Price Growth Unexpectedly Slowed in October on Clothing
Latvian consumer prices unexpectedly slowed in October as clothing and communication costs fell.
Prices rose 1.6 percent from a year earlier, compared with a 1.8 percent advance in September, the statistics office, based in the capital, Riga, said today on its website. A Bloomberg survey of six economists had forecast an increase of 1.9 percent. Prices were unchanged from the previous month.
