New Energy Idles Indiana Ethanol Plant, South Bend Tribune Says

New Energy Corp. shut its ethanol plant in Indiana last week because of high corn prices and inventories amid lower fuel demand, the South Bend Tribune reported today, citing the company’s president.
The plant, which will be idled for several months, is for sale, the newspaper said, citing Russ Abarr.
