Chidambaram Says India GDP to Grow 7% Next Year, Reuters Reports

India’s economy may expand 7 percent next fiscal year and 8 percent in 2014-2015, Reuters reported, citing an interview with Finance Minister Palaniappan Chidambaram yesterday in Mexico.
Growth in the year through March 2013 could be 5.5 percent to 6 percent barring unexpected shocks, he said, according to the report.
