Cemex to Asist Mexico Clean-Energy Fund, Invest in Power Plants
Cemex SAB, the largest cement maker in the Americas, will provide technical assistance to a fund that’s seeking to raise $300 million to build clean-energy projects in Mexico.
Cemex may take equity stakes of as much as 10 percent in specific projects, the Monterrey, Mexico-based company said today in a statement. Cemex didn’t identify the fund, which is planning to offer capital development certificates on the Mexican stock exchange
