Ecuadorean Banks Granted $1.68 Billion in New Loans Last Month

Ecuadorean banks and financial institutions, excluding government-owned lenders, granted $1.68 billion of new loans in September, a 12 percent reduction from the previous month, the central bank said today in a report on its website.
