Italian, Spanish Bonds Fall; Italy 10-Year Yields Rise to 5.09%

Italian and Spanish government bonds declined, with the yield on Italy’s 10-year security climbing one basis point, or 0.01 percentage point, to 5.09 percent at 8:56 a.m. London time.
The rate on Spain’s 4.8 percent bond maturing in January 2024 climbed four basis points to 6.09 percent.
