Vettel Wins Japanese Formula One Grand Prix as Alonso Spins Out

Sebastian Vettel led from start to finish to win the Japanese Grand Prix and take his second straight Formula One race victory.
Two-time defending world champion Vettel followed his Sept. 23 win in Singapore by finishing 20.6 seconds ahead of Ferrariās Felipe Massa at Suzuka Circuit. Kamui Kobayashi of Sauber was third in his home race.
Championship leader Fernando Alonso of Ferarri spun out on the first corner after getting a rear wheel puncture during contact with Kimi Raikkonen. With five races remaining, Alonso heads the standings with 194 points, four more than Vettel.
The 16th of 20 races, the Korean Grand Prix, is scheduled Oct. 14 in Yeongam.
