Bomb Explodes Outside National Bank of Greece Branch in Athens

A home-made explosive device exploded outside a National Bank of Greece SA branch in the Athens suburb of Ilion, causing damage to 3 stores and four parked cars without injuring anyone, a police spokesman who declined to be identified said by telephone today.
The bank’s automated teller machine was also damaged in the blast that took place at 3:30 a.m., the police spokesman said. No further information was available.
