Anglo American Plc (AAL) may reach a deal this week to settle a dispute with Chile’s state-owned copper company over the world’s fifth-largest copper mine, the Sunday Times reported, without saying where it got the information.
Anglo is considering selling 24.5 percent of the Los Bronces project at a deep discount to an original, below-market valuation after a legal dispute, the newspaper said.
Emily Blyth, a spokeswoman for Anglo American in London, declined to comment on the Sunday Times report.
