South African Fires Destroy Free State Grazing Land, SAPA Says

Wildfires have burned thousands of hectares of grazing land in South Africa’s Free State province and left farmworkers with burn injuries, South African Press Association said, citing Volksblad newspaper.
Twenty wildfires have been reported since Aug. 11, the Johannesburg-based news service cited Malcolm Procter, spokesman for Free State department of agriculture, as saying.
