Rostelecom May Tie Up With Tele2 in Russia, Kommersant Says

OAO Rostelecom, Russia’s dominant long-distance phone operator, may create alliance with a Swedish company Tele2 AB (TEL2B), Kommersant reported, citing three unidentified people in the industry.

Rostelecom may either create a joint venture with the Swedish partner or exchange its 100 percent stake in ZAO Sky Link, a mobile operator, for the the Swedish company’s stake in the mobile operator Tele2 Russia, the newspaper said.
