Deutsche Telekom Will Cut 1,300 Jobs Without Firings, FAS Says
Deutsche Telekom AG (DTE) plans to cut 1,300 positions at its headquarters by 2015 without firing workers, Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung reported, citing an interview with Marion Schick, the board member responsible for human resources.
The company will shift some tasks away from the headquarters to local offices, the newspaper cited Schick as saying in an e-mailed preview of an interview to be published tomorrow.
