Knicks Clinch Playoff Spot After Bucks Lose 118-109 to Pacers
The New York Knicks clinched a National Basketball Association playoff berth after the Milwaukee Bucks lost 118-109 against the Indiana Pacers.
The Knicks (33-29) are seventh in the Eastern Conference standings. The Bucks (29-33) are in ninth place, three games behind the Philadelphia 76ers, who are in the eighth and final playoff spot.
At Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Danny Granger scored 29 points for the Pacers, who clinched home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.
Amar’e Stoudemire may return from injury for the Knicks at the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight. New York then plays at the Atlanta Hawks on April 22 before returning home to face the Los Angeles Clippers on April 25. The Knicks end the season at Charlotte the next day.
The NBA playoffs start April 28.
