Mexico’s PRI Candidate Leads Presidential Race, Survey Shows
Mexican presidential candidate Enrique Pena Nieto, of the Institutional Revolutionary Party, received 38.1 percent support from registered voters in an opinion poll.
Josefina Vazquez Mota, from the ruling National Action Party, had 19 percent support while Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, from the Party of the Democratic Revolution, had 15.2 percent, Grupo Economistas Asociados-ISA reported in a survey released today.
Gabriel Quadri de la Torre, of the New Alliance Party, has 1.2 percent support, and 26.5 percent of those polled remain undecided, according to the study.
The survey included 1,152 people interviewed from April 7 to April 9 and has a margin of error of 3 percentage points.
