Saudi Arabia Hasn’t Supplied Arms to Syria Rebels, Al Sharq Says

Saudi Arabia hasn’t supplied weapons to the Syrian opposition or the Syrian Free Army in their fight against the government, Al Sharq reported, citing a senior Saudi official it didn’t identify.
Saudi policy toward Syria is conducted through the Gulf Cooperation Council and the Arab League, the newspaper reported. The conflict in Syria isn’t a crisis between Syria and Saudi Arabia, the official told the newspaper.
