Thejo Engineering, Jointeca Education: India IPO Alert
Following is a table showing Indian companies’ plans to sell shares through an initial public offering, or IPO, according to filings to the Securities and Exchange Board of India.
About 35 companies have pending draft offer documents with the regulator seeking approval for share sales. Indian companies raised about 59 billion rupees from 33 IPOs in the year ended March 31, compared with 331 billion rupees from 56 IPOs in the previous period. This year nine companies have raised 4.77 billion rupees ($86 million) and two companies withdrew their IPOs after the offers were undersubscribed.
Thejo Engineering Ltd. (0526724D)’s IPO opens for sale tomorrow. Jointeca Education Solutions Ltd. (JESL) lists tomorrow on BSE SME.
