Greek Deputy Foreign Minister Quits in Protest

Greek Deputy Foreign Minister Marilisa Xenogiannakopoulou, a member of the Pasok socialist party, resigned her post in the interim government of Prime Minister Lucas Papademos to protest austerity measures in a second international financing package for the country, according to an e-mailed statement from the Athens-based ministry.
