Boehner Says House Members Will ‘Forge Ahead’ With Effort to Cut Spending
House Speaker John Boehner said he was “disappointed” at the supercommittee’s failure to reach a deficit-cutting agreement, though he pledged the House would push ahead with efforts to reduce spending.
