Oil Slides in New York, Erasing Earlier Gains; Trades Near 3-Month High

Oil fell in New York, after earlier rising as much as 0.7 percent. Crude for December delivery was at $94.96 a barrel, down 30 cents, at 3:55 p.m. Beijing time in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange. The contract advanced 19 cents, or 0.2 percent, to $94.26 on Nov. 4,
the highest since Aug. 1.
