Spanish Opposition Leader Pledges Spending Cuts, Expansion Says

Spanish opposition leader Mariano Rajoy pledged spending cuts in all areas except pensions, health care and education if he wins this month’s general election, Expansion reported, citing an interview with ABC Punto Radio.
“We need to do this and it’s important that Spaniards know this,” People’s Party leader Rajoy was cited by the newspaper as saying.
