Gruebel Lost UBS Board’s Confidence Before Resignation, SZ Says

Oswald Gruebel lost the unanimous support of the UBS AG (UBSN) board before before resigning yesterday as the bank’s chief executive officer, SonntagsZeitung reported.
Gruebel was opposed to an early resignation, the Zurich- based newspaper said, citing unidentified people close to the situation.
