NORDIC DAYBOOK: Transocean Bids $1.45 Billion for Aker Drilling
Transocean Ltd. (RIG), the world’s largest offshore driller, has offered 26.5 krone a share in cash to buy Aker Drilling, valuing the Norwegian rig company at about 7.93 billion kroner ($1.45 billion), according to a statement today.
