Dilshan Century Leads Sri Lanka Past Australia in Twenty20 Match

Tillakaratne Dilshan’s unbeaten century led Sri Lanka to a 35-run win over Australia to open their two-game Twenty20 cricket series.
Dilshan scored 104 from 57 balls as the host reached 198-3 in its 20 overs in Pallekele. Kumar Sangakkara scored 30 runs and Jeevan Mendis was 29 not out.
Dilruwan Perera took 3-26 as Australia was limited to 163-8 in its innings. David Warner top-scored for the visitors with 53.
The final game of the series will be played in two days in Pallekele.
