Pakistan May Increase Natural Gas Tariff Today, Spokesman Says

Pakistan may increase the tariff for natural gas by 15 percent for domestic consumers, said Irfan Qazi, public relations officer to the minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources.

“The summary for the increase will be sent to the country’s finance committee for approval today,” Qazi said in a phone interview. “It should be implemented from July 1.”
