U.S. Retail Beef Falls in May From Record in April, USDA Says
U.S. retail-beef prices fell to $4.43 a pound in May from a revised record of $4.444 in April, the U.S. Department of Agriculture said today in a report on its website.
The price jumped 11 percent from $3.998 a pound in May 2010.
