Alvarion, Makhteshim-Agan, Teva, TAT: Israel Equity Preview

The TA-25 Index gained 0.6 percent to 1,250.56 in Tel Aviv.
Alvarion Ltd. (ALVR) : The maker of wireless telecommunications equipment won a contract to supply products to build a wireless broadband system in rural India. Alvarion climbed 2 percent to 6.061 shekels.
Makhteshim-Agan Industries Ltd. (MAIN) : The world’s biggest maker of generic agrochemicals said its fourth-quarter net loss widened to $159 million from $30 million a year earlier. Makhteshim dropped 0.3 percent to 17.65 shekels.
Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (TEVA) : The world’s largest maker of generic drugs priced $500 million of floating- rate notes and $250 million of fixed-rate notes at $1,000 and $999.42 per $1,000 principal amount, respectively. The notes were rated A3 by Moody’s Investors Services and A- by Standard & Poor’s. Teva fell 1 percent to 170.90 shekels.
TAT Technologies Ltd. (TATT) : A Delaware court has ordered First Aviation Services Inc. (FAVS) to provide audited financial statements to Piedmont Aviation Component Services LLC, a unit of the provider of products and services for the aerospace and defense industries, as part of litigation by Piedmont against First Aviation. TAT rose 0.4 percent to 18.16 shekels.
