Porto, Young Boys Win Late in Europa League; Liverpool, Napoli Draw 0-0

Porto, Young Boys and Spartak Moscow all scored late to win their opening games in the Europa League round of 32, while three-time champion Liverpool tied.

Freddy Guarin’s goal in the 85th minute gave 2003 champion Porto a 2-1 win at two-time winner Sevilla. Young Boys beat 2008 champion Zenit St. Petersburg 2-1 on Emmanuel Mayuka’s goal in stoppage time, while Spartak Moscow won 3-2 at Basel on a injury-time score from Zhano Ananidze.

Liverpool drew 0-0 at Sparta Prague, Sporting Lisbon rallied for a 1-1 draw at Rangers and Napoli and Villarreal tied 0-0 in Italy.
