New York Jets' Coleman, Smith `Game-Time Decisions' Against Patriots

By Mason Levinson - Jan 14, 2011

New York Jets defensive back Drew Coleman and utility player Brad Smith are listed as questionable for the weekend playoff game at the New England Patriots, Jets coach Rex Ryan said.

“Both of those guys could be game-time decisions,” Ryan said today at a televised news conference, declining to further discuss the players’ availability.

Coleman has a knee injury and Smith, who returns kicks, plays wide receiver and runs the Jets’ “wildcat” offensive formations as quarterback, has a groin injury.

Ryan said it’s possible Smith could be active for the Jan. 16 game even if Antonio Cromartie is used to return kicks.
