Mozambique to Invest $115 Million in Fishing Ports, AIM Says
Mozambique will invest $115 million to rehabilitate fishing facilities at the Beira and Maputo ports by 2019, Agencia de Informacao de Mocambique reported, citing Herminio Tembe, spokesman for the Fisheries Ministry.
About $100 million will be spent at the central Beira terminal, while $15 million will go to the southern port of Maputo, the state-run news agency said. The work will include new handling, refrigeration and processing facilities, Tembe told AIM.
