Derek Jeter Signs Three-Year Contract With Yankees; Option Year Included

Derek Jeter signed a three-year contract with the New York Yankees, the Major League Baseball team said.

Financial terms weren’t disclosed in a news release. The contract runs through 2013 and contains an option year for 2014 that Jeter can activate.
