Colombia Stock Movers: Grupo Aval, Empresa de Energia de Bogota

The following companies had unusual price changes in Bogota trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of 1 p.m. New York time.

The IGBC Index declined 0.1 percent to 15,448.08, while the Colcap Index dropped 0.2 percent to 1,837.18.

Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA (AVAL CB) increased 0.3 percent to 1,485 pesos. Colombia’s biggest financial holding company said in a regulatory filing today that it plans to sell shares outside its home country for the first time.

Empresa de Energia de Bogota (EEB CB) climbed 0.9 percent to 160,000 pesos. The nation’s second-biggest electricity transporter said in a filing today it won a bid to improve energy transmission in three substations in southern Colombia.
