BP's Vidrine Declines to Testify to Federal Investigative Panel on Blast
Donald Vidrine, one of two BP Plc well-site leaders aboard the Deepwater Horizon rig when it exploded April 20, has declined to testify before a federal investigative panel.
Vidrine cited medical reasons for his decision, the panel said on its website. He was due to testify in Houston on Aug. 23. Vidrine declined previous invitations to testify before the joint Coast Guard-Interior Department panel in May and July.
