Oman Investment Is in Preliminary Talks to Buy Stake in National Finance
Oman Investment & Finance Co., a utility billing company, said it’s in talks to buy a stake in National Finance Co.
“Currently the discussions and negotiations are at a very preliminary stage,” the company said in a statement to the Muscat bourse today. “The transaction will be dependent and subject to the legal and financial due diligence and approvals of all concerned authorities.”
Al Hilal Investment holds 33 percent of National Finance, while Oman International Development owns about 20 percent of the company’s stake at the end of last year, according to Bloomberg data.
