Dollarama, NovaGold Resources, Telus: Canada Equity Preview for April 13

The Standard & Poor’s/TSX Composite Index fell for the first time in three days, losing 28.18 points, or 0.2 percent, to 12,148.66.
Dollarama Inc. (DOL CT): Canada’s biggest chain of dollar stores said three of its shareholders will sell at least 10.1 million shares for C$24.60 a share through a secondary public offering. Dollarama shares fell 0.8 percent to C$25.20.
NovaGold Resources Inc. (NG CT): Rick Van Nieuwenhuyse, chief executive officer of the owner of gold projects in Canada and Alaska, is scheduled to address the Denver Gold Group European Gold Forum at 3:40 p.m. in Zurich.
Telus Corp. (T CT): Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission Chairman Konrad von Finckenstein is scheduled to address a parliamentary committee on whether to loosen restrictions on foreign ownership in the telecom sector. Telus is Canada’s third-largest wireless carrier by subscriptions.
