Japan’s Exports Fall for Ninth Straight Month in June: Chart

The Bank of Japan meets this week amid more weak economic data. While exports didn’t fall as much as expected, the 7.4 percent decline in June was the ninth straight contraction. Before the figures, 32 of 41 analysts forecast the BOJ board would expand its record stimulus at the two-day meeting ending on July 29.
