After four years of deflation, prices for products leaving factories in China are turning a corner. Producer-price index declines eased for the sixth straight month in June, falling 2.6 percent in June after a 2.8 percent drop a month earlier. That’s a big recovery after declines of almost 6 percent through the last four months of 2015. Analysts expect the PPI gauge to finally turn positive in 2018, according to a Bloomberg survey.
