Brexit May Delay a Fed Rate Hike, Here's Why

Futures trading suggests the market is starting to price in the possibility the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates this year rather than increase them, after the U.K.’s decision last week to leave the European Union. As of Monday, there was a 20 percent chance the central bank would lower rates by December, while the odds of a hike were 8 percent. The probability of a reduction was zero on June 23, the day of the referendum.
