Kate Moore, who was the chief investment strategist for the private bank at JPMorgan Chase & Co., joined BlackRock Inc. as chief equity strategist for the Americas, according to a memo provided by the company.
Moore’s responsibilities will include developing and delivering global stock-market views, the memo shows. She will represent BlackRock’s market views for equities across U.S. client channels and in the media.
At JPMorgan, Moore set asset allocation and investment strategy for U.S. discretionary multiasset portfolios and managed a macro equity strategy for private clients, according to the memo. Moore will report to Richard Turnill, BlackRock’s global chief investment strategist.
