Gold has rallied 20 percent in 2016 as investors sought a haven from equity turmoil at the start of the year and the Federal Reserve dialed back expectations for U.S. interest-rate increases. Holdings in exchange-traded funds have jumped 25 percent from a seven-year low on Jan. 6 to reach highest since December 2013, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
