For Malaysian stocks, it’s turning out to be a tough year with the benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI Index the only decliner among its developing peers in Southeast Asia. The share gauge is down almost 5 percent since climbing to a peak in April as it spirals toward a fourth weekly drop, the longest slump in almost a year. Global funds reversed gears two weeks ago to become net sellers of Malaysian equities after being buyers for most of 2016.
