Temasek Unit to Sell $46 Million Pool to Argyle's TIH

A Temasek Holdings Pte unit has sold a S$62 million ($46 million) pool of investments to Argyle Street Management, a Hong Kong asset manager.

TIH Ltd., the Singapore-based private-equity firm owned by Argyle, will manage the investment, which includes stakes in Whiterock Medical Co., a Singapore-based distributor of medical instruments, and Australian coal operations company Carbon Energy Ltd., according to a statement to the Singapore Exchange on Tuesday. Temasek is Singapore’s state-owned investment company.

Argyle manages $823 million in assets and Temasek oversaw a portfolio of S$266 billion as of the end of March 2015 based on its latest annual report.

Spokesmen at Temasek, Argyle and TIH declined to comment.
