Rwanda Appoints Nzambwita as Head of Intelligence

Rwandan President Paul Kagame named Joseph Nzambwita head of national intelligence and security services, according to an e-mailed statement from the presidency.

Nzambwita, a former army spokesman, replaces Karenzi Karake, who was appointed defense and security adviser to the president, according to the statement.
