Hungary to Scrap State Education Authority After Street Protests

Hungary’s govenment will abolish the state education authority after a series of street protests by teachers this year demanding its overhaul because of alleged mismanagement.

The central authority known as Klik will “cease to exist as such by summer,” ATV reported, citing an interview with state secretary Bence Retvari.
